ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Angel a Thomas Middleton is a high school graduate of East Hall High School, and a member of the 1979 State Championship Basketball team. Angela Graduated from Tift College with a Dual Degree in Biology
and Physical Education. She then completed her Master’s of Education Degree at West GeorgiaUniversity. Angela later obtained an Educational Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial University.
Angela began her teaching and coaching career in Griffin, Georgia. She accepted her first Head Coaching assignment at Southwest DeKalb, in Decatur Ga. Afterwards she moved back to Gainesville, GA as Head Coach for the inaugural basketball program at Flowery Branch High School. She concluded her coaching career as an Assistance Women’s Basket ball Coach at Piedmont College before retiring for a brief moment.
Since her retirement, Angela has worked as a public servant throughout her community. Her servitude has cultivated her passion for education into a second career as a GED instructor at Lanier Technical College. Angela fosters the belief that “Education is the key to economic growth in our community”.
After 8 year with Lanier Tech, Angela decided to expand her beliefs and passion into a business adventure. Stepping out on faith and the need for educational growth in our economic community, Angela launch “Tbird’s Touch, Southside Exchange Connection”. In this business adventure, she is able
to identify, connect and promote black businesses and entrepreneurs in Gainesvile/Hall County.
MISSION
Our initiatives focus on connecting entrepreneurs with essential resources, offering comprehensive support, and creating partnerships with local communities and governments. We aspire to build a robust network that enhances economic development in the community.
VISION
To significantly expand the presence and impact of Black-owned businesses in Gainesville and Hall County.
